Here's gospel legend Mahalia Jackson herself singing "Down By The Riverside" with Dinah Shore on The Dinah Shore Chevy Show. Mahalia made her TV debut on Dinah's Show and was a frequent guest. She and Dinah became lifelong friends and, according to one biography, Mahalia even kept a picture of Dinah by her bed and Dinah sang at one of Mahalia's last concerts in the early 1970s.

September In The Rain-Dinah Washington
The leaves of brown came tumblin' down, remember
In September in the rain
The sun went out just like a dying ember
That September in the rain
To every word of love I heard you whisper
The raindrops seemed to play a sweet refrain
Though spring is here, to me it's still September
That September in the rain

"What a Difference a Day Made" is a popular song originally written in Spanish by María Méndez Grever (a.k.a. María Grever), a Mexican composer, in 1934. Originally, the song was known as "Cuando Vuelva A Tu Lado".
The English lyrics were written by Stanley Adams, made famous by Harry Roy & his Orchestra. It was published in late 1934. The song is in the Bolero romantic style and it is also known as "What a Difference a Day Makes".
This song is one of the most popular boleros of all time. Dinah Washington won Grammy Award in 1959 for Best Rhythm and Blues Performance with this song, and her version was also inducted into the Grammy Hall of Fame in 1998.[1]
It has also been recorded by Diana Ross in her Blue album 2006, Sarah Vaughan, Renee Olstead, Eydie Gorme in 1964 album titled Eydie Gorme canta en español con Los Panchos, Luis Miguel in his Romance album 1991, etc. Jamie Cullum's 2003 debut album, twentysomething, also features a remake of this song. In 2007 R&B/Dance singer Deborah Cox made a remake of this song on her album Destination Moon. Also in 2007, Peter Criss covered the song on his album One For All.

This comes from "The Dinah Shore Show" from the 1964-65 season when she did a series of specials on ABC sponsored by Purex. This one was a salute to the Peace Corps and featured songs from all over the world sung in their native language. This one is in Iranian and I don't know the title. If anyone does, please share it.

THE QUEEN Dinah Washington sings.
Dinah Washington was born August 29, 1924.
She was an African-American blues singer
noted for excellent voice control and her
unique gospel-influenced delivery.
From Tuscaloosa, Alabama, Ruth Lee Jones
(original name), moved with her family to
Chicago as a child. She sang in and played the
piano for her church choir and in 1939 began
to sing and play piano in various Chicago
nightclubs, in addition to touring with Sallie
Martin's gospel group. About 1942-43 she
adopted the stage name Dinah Washington.
From 1943 to 1946 she sang with the Lionel
Hampton band and in 1946 began a successful
solo career. During the period from 1949 to
1955, her recordings were consistently among
the top ten hits of the rhythm-and-blues charts.
Even after she crossed over to the popular
(pop) music market, in which she had her
greatest commercial success, Washington
retained many of her earlier fans because of
her passionate, supple style. Often referred too
as Queen of The Blues, she died Dec. 14, 1963
in Detroit, Michigan.
