I was filming at the Shoreham airshow,when a WW2 Hurricane AE-C BD707 crashed.This is my experience of the event.You don't see the plane crashing,but I was really close to the crash site.It was a real tradgedy taking place before my eyes.The other air display pilots flew over the crash sight in the missing man formation,a truly rare sight in peace time. Cross country flying in a Diamond Star DA40 TDI - G-CDEK from Shoreham (EGKA)- Rochester (EGTO)and back. It was a very windy day and on approach to Rochester we were warned of severe wind shear. Watch out for a very near bird strike on touchdown back at Shoreham.
