"School Days"OP
School Days (スクールデイズ, Sukūru Deizu) is an animation adventure game developed by 0verflow. The game is vastly different from traditional visual novels in that it resembles an interactive anime with over 70 minutes of animation - a first for this genre. It is presented in widescreen format and divided into individual episodes similar to anime, and has opening and closing scenes for each one. The game has 21 possible endings, both good and bad.
The game is infamous for its bad endings which are extremely violent, ranging from the killing of one of the other main characters and graphic depictions of suicide. A spinoff of this game released by 0verflow using the same system was Summer Days, which had no such violent endings.
The game has spun off various adaptations, including an anime, a manga series, three novels, and a drama CD.
Despite the original material already resembling an anime, there is an anime adaptation, produced by TNK, that began airing in Japan on July 3, 2007.

Seto no Hanayome's story revolves around a young teenage boy named Nagasumi Michishio. One day during his summer vacation, Nagasumi was saved from drowning by a mermaid, Sun Seto, in the Seto Inland Sea. However, under mermaid law, if a mermaid's identity as a mermaid has been revealed, both the mermaid who was involved and the human who saw the mermaid are to be executed. In an attempt to save both Nagasumi and Sun's lives, Sun's family, which is apparently the head of its own mob, reluctantly decides that the two are to be married.
Plot
Gōzaburō, Sun's father, however, is enraged about his daughter running off and getting married, especially to a human whom he deems inferior. Between Gōzaburō's attempts on his life and the madcap antics of a whole slew of antagonists — including the daughter of a rival mobster and a rich male transfer student with an attraction for Sun — Nagasumi is not enjoying a very smooth transition into his new lifestyle.
Sun Seto (瀬戸 燦, Seto San)
Voiced by: Haruko Momoi
Sun is the daughter of the Yakuza Seto Group's boss, Gōzaburō Seto. She is a firm believer in the chivalrous spirit of mermaids, and is devoted to her role as Nagasumi's wife. Sun is also in love with Nagasumi. Since she has yet to become an adult, Sun is unable to completely maintain her human form, and her legs revert to a tail whenever she comes into contact with water. She often cites the similarity between the words ninkyō (chivalry) and ningyo (mermaid) to stress her adherence to honorable courses of action. Her name is related to Seto Inland Sea and Sun.
Lunar Edomae (江戸前 留奈, Edomae Runa)
Voiced by: Sakura Nogawa
Lunar is a childhood friend and rival of Sun. She has used the powers of her mermaid voice to become a pop star idol singer. She seems to suffer from a superiority complex, and she never passes up an attempt to overshadow Sun. She initially thought that Sun was boasting Nagasumi to her, and in an attempt to outdo Sun she decides to steal him away from her by making Nagasumi her servant, since Nagasumi has also seen her mermaid form. Later she decides to live in Nagasumi's house until his servant status is over. It was unclear if she has developed a liking to him (since she has decided to learn how to cook and make him a packed lunch, although still in an attempt to beat Sun). But it is then revealed in episode 12 that she does in fact have feelings for Nagasumi, and planned on marrying him, but this is stopped by Sun. Her name is related to Tokyo Bay and Lunar.

The story features several characters from the second year class of a magic academy in a fictional magical world with the main character being the inept mage Louise and her familiar from Earth, Saito Hiraga. The series has been adapted twice as an anime series. The first season aired in Japan in 2006 produced by the animation studio J.C. Staff,[1] and the second season, entitled Zero no Tsukaima: Futatsuki no Kishi (ゼロの使い魔 ~双月の騎士~, Zero no Tsukaima: Futatsuki no Kishi lit. The Familiar of Zero: Knight of the Two Moons), began airing in Japan on July 9, 2007. A manga version drawn by Nana Mochizuki began serialization in July 2006.
On April 21, 2007, Geneon announced that they have picked up the English dubbing rights of the first season of the anime series and will be under the title The Familiar of Zero. The announcement was made at the 2007 Anime Boston convention.
Louise (ルイズ, Ruizu)
Voiced by: Rie Kugimiya
Louise Françoise le Blanc de la Vallière is the main female character. She is a second year student at the Tristain Academy of Magic. Louise is a terrible mage who is often scorned by her fellow classmates because every spell she casts fails, so she is nicknamed "Louise the Zero" after her zero success rate and zero attributes. This has led her to be very bitter and in the way she treats her future familiar Saito to an even cruel extent. The third daughter of the noble family La Vallière who owns the north-eastern territory of Tristain.
She initially treats Saito like a dog, whipping him, making him lie on a straw bed, and even getting naked in front of him. She also makes him dress her and wash all of her clothes (including her underwear). Typically of Rie Kugimiya's voice roles as tsundere type characters, Louise at first hates Saito, but because of various situations, grows fond of him, even falling in love with him even though she beats him with a whip. In one instance she beat him for hours until he had wounds all over his body.
Later it is revealed that Louise's failure in performing magic of any of the four basic attributes is because in fact her magical affinity is with the rare and powerful Void element, hence being known as the Void Wizard since then. This relies at first on the cooperation of Saito's ability to trigger it even though she treats him horribly.
